CHEVERLY, MD. (ABC7— Prince George's County Police are investigating the shooting deaths of two women found inside an apartment complex in Cheverly, MD. According to Prince George's County Police, the women were identified as 26-year-old Tareeka Jones from Cheverly, and 22-year-old Jalisa Walls-Harris from Bowie, MD. Sources told ABC7 News reporter Brad Bell the women, believed to be sisters, were murdered as two children watched.

Officers responded to the Cheverly Station Apartment complex on Landover Road around 10:30 p.m. Monday for a report of gunshots. When officers arrived, they found Jones and Harris with multiple gunshot wounds. Police said both women died at the scene.

Police said an initial investigation revealed that an unidentified person shot both women and left the area, and they do not believe this act was random.

Now police are saying the man suspected for the murder of these two women, 30-year-old Kevin Tyrice Reynolds was found dead in Hanover County, VA. around 10 a.m. Tuesday. Police say it appears Reynolds died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say a preliminary investigation reveals that Reynolds and Jones were in a romantic relationship. Police confirmed the two women were, in fact, sisters.
